1. What does Transworld Business Advisors do?

For sellers, we help promote your business to potential buyers worldwide. We vet potential buyers and negotiate the best selling price and terms, handling all the administrative tasks and paperwork along the way. Finally, we get the buyer to the closing table and complete the deal.

2. Do I really need a Transworld Business Broker or M&A Consultant?

Buying or selling a company is complicated. And if you’re like most people, you have little or no experience with this type of transaction. A professional advisor can guide you to make good decisions, avoid pitfalls and achieve the result you want.  We do deals from less than $100,000 to $100,000,000 and have sold over tens of thousands of businesses over the years.  Our internal CRM is unparalleled by rivals and we have been the premier brokerage in the country according to IBISWorld for years.

3. Do I need an attorney and accountant to buy or sell a business?

While some companies are sold without the help of accountants and attorneys, we strongly recommend that both the buyer and seller engage professionals. We can provide referrals to qualified specialists upon request.

4. What geographical areas do you service?

We work with businesses throughout the United States of America and have representation in over 14 countries around the world.

 

5. Will my employees and customers find out I’m selling my business?

Not unless you want them to (which, in most cases, would not be recommended for a variety of reasons).  Basically, they won’t find out from us. We treat all information with the highest level of confidentiality. We also make potential buyers sign a Confidentiality Agreement before we share sensitive information. In our marketing efforts, we will be careful to keep your business identity secure.

6. What size businesses do you work with?

Because we’ve completed hundreds of transactions, we’ve had the privilege of working with businesses of all sizes and in all industries as well. When we talk with you, we believe you’ll be able to gauge the depth of our experience as successful brokers.

 

7. Can you expose our business to people outside of our immediate area?

Yes. We have a large, diverse database. We also place ads where they’ll be seen nationally and internationally. We also will proactively seek out promising prospects, wherever they may be, and contact them directly. In addition we have offices in almost every state in the US and foreign offices including the U.K., Australia, and Dubai.

 

8. Will you co-broke?

Yes. We are always willing to do whatever it takes to get the deal done.  OUR GOALS are in-line with YOURS!

 

9. How do you determine my business’s value and selling price?

Of course every business is different, even those in the industry. At Transworld we know what questions to ask and research to do. We know how every factor, big and small, can add to or detract from the value.

Because we’ve put a value on thousands of businesses and have access to the latest data of businesses sold, we’re able to confidently develop an accurate valuation and suggested selling price.
